Can I set a specific number of restocked items before sending out notifications to the customers?
There are 50 customers who have signed up to be notified for a restock of Cool Kicks shoes. There are 2 pairs that a customer returned and we put it to restock.
Question: Since there are only two pairs in stock and 50 customers wanted to be notified, is it possible to set the notification to send out only if the restock reached 50 pairs?
Answer: Unfortunately, this is not possible. The app is designed to send out notifications to all customers who have requested for alerts as soon as there is a restock, regardless of the quantity.
In the scenario above, all 50 customers will receive the restock alert but the first two who have purchased the restocked items right away will be able to get them. The product will then be labeled out-of-stock again.
